James Gray serves as founder and chief executive officer of The Aspenwood Company. He also founded Bridgewood Property Company in 2002 and serves as the company’s president. His role encompasses strategic, financial, and marketing operations for the company’s multiple properties.

Heather brings more than 20 years of experience in operations, sales, compliance, and marketing in senior health care services. Under her leadership as president, Heather provides oversight of daily operations encompassing strategic, financial, operational, sales and marketing aspects of the company’s multiple properties. Previously, Heather held the position of chief operating officer and vice president of sales for Morning Pointe Senior Living, which owned and operated 37 senior living communities.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Terry is a trusted advisor and accomplished business leader, renowned for his decision-making acumen. Terry oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. He also collaborates closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with The Aspenwood Company’s mission and long-term goals.

Lesa Scott, RN has over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse and more than two decades in senior living and skilled nursing leadership. Lesa brings unmatched clinical expertise and operational insight to our executive team. As a trusted leader and mentor, she is known for driving quality care, regulatory excellence, and resident-centered outcomes. We’re excited for the future with Lesa helping lead the way!

A proven leader in the senior living industry for more than 28 years, Joel provides operational leadership for The Aspenwood Company’s line of luxury communities. He attended Baylor University where he received a bachelor of music degree in vocal performance. Following Baylor, he felt senior living was a natural fit, for he had always had a distinct fondness for “seasoned” folks. He stays close to his love of music by sharing his talent regularly with residents.

Victor brings a diverse background to the Aspenwood team. He previously worked in the hospitality industry for more than 12 years in various management roles for prestigious resorts around the southern Caribbean. His experience also includes new home development where he served as both a contractor and subcontractor.

Kimberly serves as a human resources leader for The Aspenwood Company, where she is passionate about creating a culture that supports, engages, and empowers associates across the organization. With more than six years at Aspenwood and a background in luxury hospitality, she brings a service-focused approach to talent development, employee engagement, and organizational culture. Kimberly has played a key role in fostering a workplace where team members feel valued and heard, contributing to a remarkable 99% employee engagement survey participation rate and strong employer ratings on Glassdoor and Indeed. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that exceptional resident experiences begin with engaged and supported associates, making her an integral part of Aspenwood’s commitment to excellence in senior living.

Amber McDaniel is a highly accomplished senior engagement specialist, bringing a wealth of experience and a dynamic approach to her role. Amber’s expertise in formulating innovative engagement initiatives is instrumental in stimulating resident activity and fostering team member innovation. With an extensive background in the health and wellness industry, coupled with her proficiency in health promotion, chronic condition management, training, and event planning, Amber elevates the resident experience for all Aspenwood communities.

Michael Muratovic brings to Aspenwood several years of extensive experience in the IT industry. He has worked across various sectors including senior living, property management, hospitality, and oil and gas. His expertise includes leading teams and implementing innovative solutions, with a strong focus on automation to drive efficiency and business growth. Michael has a proven track record of streamlining operations, reducing downtime, and enhancing the overall user experience.

Joshua Bentley serves as Vice President of Sales and Operations for The Aspenwood Company, leading sales strategy and operational performance across multiple communities. With extensive experience in senior living, he has successfully supported new developments, lease-ups, operational turnarounds, and high-performing communities, helping drive regional occupancy to 93% and several communities to 95–100% occupancy. Known for his prospect-centered approach and passion for developing leaders, Joshua focuses on building strong teams, enhancing resident experiences, and creating a culture of excellence. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Healthcare Leadership.

Samantha is a dynamic senior living leader known for her collaborative leadership style, people-first approach, and ability to build strong, high-performing cultures. As a servant leader, she combines strategic vision with empathy, authenticity, and accountability to drive operational excellence, support community growth, and develop future leaders. Her passion for senior living was inspired by caring for her grandmother, shaping her commitment to serving residents, families, and associates with compassion and purpose. Samantha believes exceptional outcomes begin with empowered teams and works to create environments where associates feel valued, supported, and inspired to deliver outstanding resident experiences. Her positive energy, dedication to mentorship, and focus on meaningful relationships continue to make a lasting impact throughout The Aspenwood Company.

Nate brings more than 25 years of operational leadership experience across senior living, hospitality, and healthcare. He has successfully led sales and operations teams in pervious roles driving performance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Known for his people-first leadership style, Nate is passionate about building strong cultures, developing talent, and creating environments where both team members and residents thrive. His leadership is defined by accountability, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences while fostering meaningful relationships and community connections.
